This guide explains how we structure programming consulting for test automation and code quality when you are evaluating an outside specialist.
1. Intake and fit check
You submit an inquiry with your stack, CI provider, and the quality issue you are trying to solve. We confirm whether an assessment, implementation support, or advisory block is appropriate. If the problem is outside automation and maintainability (for example pure staffing augmentation), we say so early.
2. Scoping workshop
A video call with your tech lead covers repositories, test runtimes, merge policies, and incident history. We do not need production credentials for this step. Output is a draft scope: objectives, out-of-scope items, and assumptions.
3. Statement of work
The SOW lists deliverables (reports, merged PRs, workshop notes), timeline, and fees in THB or agreed currency. Deposits and payment schedules follow our refund policy. Nothing starts until the SOW is signed.
4. Delivery and handover
Work happens in your tools: pull requests, pipeline YAML, and documentation in your wiki or repo. We run a closing session so your team owns the new gates and tests.
5. Optional follow-on
Many clients book a short advisory retainer after the main project to tune gates as traffic patterns change. Retainers are optional and separately quoted.
